We are currently looking for a dedicated, experienced and proactive chef to join our wonderful in house school catering team. We are looking for someone to take the lead in the preparation and cooking of school meals for all our pupils and staff. If you are ambitious and determined to make a difference, we would like to meet you.
Hours and Service terms: 32 hours per week depending on candidate during school term time only
Salary Scale: Spine point 23 to 29 depending on experience £35,223.00-£38,934.00
(32 hours Pro Rata starting £27,937.56 with annual increments up to £30,880.98)

To work as part of the catering team to deliver effective and efficient operation of all activities within the kitchen, including the planning, preparation and cooking of meals within a school.

Post: Primary English Subject Content Creator
Salary: M3-M6 based on experience
Commitment: A minimum of 4 days per week. The position will run from September 2023 to August 2024

Fox Federation is a passionate community of three schools working collaboratively to ensure equal access
to consistent, excellent education for all pupils. Our schools are nurturing places to work, committed to
innovation and have high academic standards. Fox School recently won the tender to produce the full
Primary English content for Oak National Academy.
We’re looking for inspirational Primary teachers with English expertise to help us create English content
for one year, during our curriculum partnership with the Oak National Academy. This will involve creating
high-quality English lesson slides, quizzes and resources, and accompanying videos for Key Stage 1 and/ or
Key Stage 2. Successful candidates will have the option to work flexibly or a school base in central London.
Main Responsibilities:
● Design and creation of lesson resources, comprising slide decks, worksheets, quizzes and associated
lesson information, which meet Oak’s quality guidance requirements and showcase best practice in
subject and pedagogical expertise across PrimaryEnglish lessons as allocated by Oak;
● Produce video recordings delivering the lesson to provide a model for teachers and to support
remote learning as part of an asynchronous lesson, which meet Oak’s quality guidance
requirements and showcase best practice in subject and pedagogical expertise;
● Peer review lessons created by fellow teachers;
● Provide feedback on production processes, identifying opportunities for improvement;
● Maintain communication through Slack and Email with line managers both in Fox and Oak National
Academy.
Essential knowledge, experience and skills
● 3+ years direct experience of teaching in a school/schools following the English National Curriculum
for English in Key Stage 1 and 2;
● An excellent practitioner with experience of creating and delivering lesson content that
demonstrates pedagogical best practice and excellent subject knowledge;
● Have a high standard of English, including punctuation and grammar, in written and verbal
communication;
● Competent working with and adapting to a variety of technologies.
Other Information
● Successful candidates will commit to approximatetley 20 days training throughout September. This
may include a three day residential;
● All successful candidates will be required to have reliable internet speed and connection with
minimum download rate of 20 Mbps and minimum upload rate of 5 Mbps;
● All relevant IT equipment will be provided for the duration of the project.
Successful candidates will have a desire to contribute in all areas to ensure Oak is successful. You will be
comfortable working at pace and you will continuously look at ways that the team can work more smartly.
You will be excellent at working as part of a remote team, building relationships and managing your time
effectively.
● Qualifications - Qualified Teacher Status. Significant experience and extensive knowledge of the
English Primary Curriculum
● Commitment - To excellence and proven track record of successfully completing projects
● Communication- The proven ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing with pupils
and colleagues.
● Collaboration- The ability to be an active team-member, maintain good relations with colleagues
and get the best out of others.
● Deadlines - The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
