| Fox Half term sports camp - cancelled Unfortunately due to a lack of interest, we are unable to offer the Fox Holiday camp in October half term. To make the camp financially viable we needed to have at least 30 children – 5 days a week. Mr Millet will however, be running his football camp at Holland Park. There are holiday play centres at Servite, Colville and Middle Row. |

| Link Ghanaian School – Better Life
School Last year we raised over £1000 for our link Ghanaian School. We recently received a letter from the Headteacher – Victor Assilidjoe, thanking us for our support. The money has been used to improve the roof and to create a permanent classroom. Mr Assilidjoe was very keen to tell us that his school has registered 14 children to sit their Final Basic Certificate Examination and that the school won the inter–schools soccer competition. |

| Solar panels on roof – consultation
The school recently applied for a £50,000 Lottery Grant to put solar panels on the roof. We were turned down, but told we could re-apply in November. Please can you let me know your thoughts and feelings on the school placing solar panels on its roof. Email info@fox.rbkc.sch.uk |

| Secondary Transfer deadline – Friday
23rd October We have been advised by RBK&C to discourage parents from putting their secondary transfer applications in the post. Please can parents hand in their forms to the school by Thursday 22nd October or take the application direct to the Town Hall. Please be advised if you are applying for a visual arts place at Holland Park School there is a supplementary form to complete. A test will be used to select 10% of the places and may therefore reduce the distance. |

| FSA Halloween Party- Friday 23rd
October: I must apologise - the date has been changed to FRIDAY 23rd OCTOBER 3.30 to 5pm. The reason is that the posters went out too early and didn't account for the Jazz workshop. However WE NEED VOLUNTEERS and DONATIONS (into yellow bucket in office) Donations of decorations for the hall. (Set up time from 1.30pm) and people to decorate. Donations of sweets and chocolates for prizes and for biscuit decorations (remember we are a nut free school). Bat and witches biscuits for the children to decorate. Please offer your time and services to Anahi on 07980 617 626, Claire 020 7937 3265 or Jodie 07932670965 Children should bring their costumes to school in the morning! PARENTS ARE ALSO INVITED TO DRESS UP TOO. |
