WORLD BOOK DAY Thank you for supporting World Book day. We saw some fantastic outfits as children came dressed as their favourite characters. The book swap was also a huge success as the children got the opportunity to exchange their books with other children’s books. This fitted in nicely with our eco pledge and is something we would like to organise more often. |

HOUSE EVENT WEEK Once again we had a fantastic House event week with lots of different
activities taking place. The Year 3 and 3/2 cake making was a huge
success amongst the children, who were given the opportunity to purchase
the cakes in the after school sale. The House event week points were: |

TALENT SHOW Talent Show a huge success - Thank you to Miss Martin who organised this years talent shows, Mr Millet, Mr Lydon and Miss Morgan for comparing the shows and Mr Adamah for organizing the technical side. Both the phase A/B and C shows were a huge success. We had over 60 acts in total and we saw some fantastic individual and group performances. |

MUSIC WEEK Mr Lydon organised an action packed music week involving all classes in the school. There were many visiting musicians, as well as events taking place outside school. |

BLACK HISTORY WEEK We are celebrating black history month during the week beginning
19th October. All classes will look at the theme of journeys and celebrate
black history and culture throughout the week. |

WALK TO SCHOOL BREAKFAST As part of our walk to school week we invited Anne Kendrick OBE,
ex Fox pupil and author of ‘Let me Out: How to Enjoy the School Run,
to host a walk to school breakfast on Friday 16th. She was accompanied
by Councillor Mrs Frazer. All Fox children and parents were invited
to have breakfast in the school hall from 8am. |
